Anisha Singh

Drawing on behavioural insights and organisational design, my research delves into decision-making within workplaces across the world to design and test inclusive well-being-driven policies that can transform the modern work environment.

I am currently an MPhil/PhD candidate with the Psychological and Behavioural Science program at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Before starting my PhD, I was a Vice President with the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics. I led a portfolio of academic collaborations and experiments that focused on creating new knowledge around behavioral mechanisms and interventions in the Global South. As a Practitioner-in-Residence at MIT GOV/LAB, I put together a guide, Before you wreck yourself: A guide to facing the hard truth that we are all one level removed, combining stories from experts and my own experiences running behavioural lab experiments around the world. I have spoken more on my learnings at the National Academy of Sciences and United Nations led forums.

When not thinking about research, I love travelling and taking photos of nature and wildlife. I've visited over 40 countries so far and I've learned that I like watching chaos and observing uncertainty without partaking in it. It's reflected in where I choose to live and in the friends I make!
